Summer Preview Registration Now Open

Registration for Summer Preview is now open in the Student Portal! Before you register for your preferred session, please review the information below so that you can select the session that works best for you and your family.

This year’s Summer Preview will be offered in-person, and there will be virtual opportunities on the same days for students who cannot come to campus.

Both formats will provide the same important information and course registration process to help prepare you for a successful transition in the fall. Each in-person session has a limited number of spots available, and each student is allowed to bring one guest (a $75 guest fee will apply). Family members of in-person attendees may also join the live-streamed sessions from home. More information regarding virtual access will be shared closer to the sessions.

All students must register for a Summer Preview session. If you’re unable to attend any of sessions, please email newjays [at] creighton [dot] edu so we can work with you on an alternate way to experience Summer Preview.

The Summer Preview session dates are:

  • June 7-8
  • June 10-11
  • June 14-15
  • June 17-18

In-person programming on day one will begin around 8 a.m. CDT. Programming on day two will end around 2 p.m. CDT. Detailed schedules for students and guests will be shared closer to the session dates.

While Summer Preview traditionally includes an overnight stay on campus, there are a limited number of rooms available this year due to social distancing guidelines. Housing is available on a first come, first served basis with a preference to those who are coming to Preview unaccompanied. Students will be staying in suite-style accommodations with a private bedroom and sharing a bathroom with one other student.

Click here for Creighton’s hotel recommendations and special rates for guests.

Please note that there is no priority for course availability based on in-person or virtual attendance, or for those who sign up for the first sessions. All students will have an equal opportunity to register for class seats.

If you choose to attend virtually on these days, you will participate in a virtual advising appointment on the first day of your session and register for courses on the second day of your session, in addition to viewing live streamed sessions from the in-person session.

If you have any questions, please email newjays [at] creighton [dot] edu.

We look forward to meeting you and all of the newest members of the Creighton family, and sharing what’s to come during your fall semester!
