The residence halls will re-open to students with nine-month housing contracts on Jan. 23, 2021 (as was communicated prior to break, 12-month residents retained access to the halls throughout break). We look forward to welcoming you back to campus for the spring semester.
To allow for appropriate physical distancing and sanitation throughout the move-in process, residence hall check-in will be appointment-based.
On Monday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. CST, appointment selection opened in the Housing Portal for students with nine-month housing contracts. Please note, you are responsible for self-selecting your appointment date and time. Appointments between Jan. 23-26 are available.
In anticipation of your return to the residence halls, please note the following COVID-19 testing guidelines:
- Before your arrival, you are highly encouraged to complete a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your appointment and submit the result to covidresults [at] creighton [dot] edu when it becomes available to you.
- At your selected move-in time, before you check into your residence hall, you must complete a COVID-19 test at the Kiewit Fitness Center. Here, you will receive a wristband that will grant you access to your residence hall and other campus facilities. This result should also be submitted to covidresults [at] creighton [dot] edu when it becomes available to you.
You may bring one guest to your residence hall to assist you during your move-in appointment. This guest must complete a temperature screening upon entering the residence hall. This guest does not need to complete a Campus Access Form. While in your residence hall, you must accompany your guest at all times.
After your appointment, guests are not permitted on campus without an approved Campus Access Form. Contact living [at] creighton [dot] edu with questions about this process.
If you have questions or special requests, please contact living [at] creighton [dot] edu.
