As part of the first-year experience at Creighton, all freshmen students are provided the opportunity to take the CliftonStrengths for Students assessment. Created by Gallup, CliftonStrengths for Students analyzes the results of a survey to identify the top five strengths of an individual, from a list of 34 total strengths. These strengths highlight natural inclinations to success.

CliftonStrengths for Students programming begins when, freshmen will receive a code to access their Strengths Assessment. Students have until February 1 to complete the assessment.

Strengths Week sessions, held in February, introduce students to their strengths. The spring semester will contain a variety of Strengths programming to dive into cultivating a richer awareness for each student. Campus partners of this new program include the Department of Residential Life, the John P. Fahey Career Center, the Success Center, Campus Ministry and more.

CliftonStrengths helped me to connect with others with the same strengths, and helped me to realize why I’m different than others based on my priorities. I use my strengths when working with others, knowing how to interact with them.
