Late Night Programs

Have fun with CU after dark.

CU after dark

Late Night Programming (also known as CU After Dark) offers students fun, unique, free, safe, and alcohol/substance-alternative programming on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings. Late night programming gives students a chance to engage in activities they may not have access to otherwise on or off campus, interact with a wide array of organizations and departments, and meet new people and build relationships.

Program Outcomes

  • Engage students in activities that serve as models for how to have fun without excessive and high-risk drinking/substance use
  • Acknowledge students’ abilities to organize themselves around, respond to, and challenge the highly charged issues of partying and drinking
  • Unite student groups that might not typically work together, thereby promoting collaboration, creating community and building coalitions
  • Expose Creighton students to a variety of cultures other than their own
  • Increase health and safety for Creighton students
  • Decrease crime, irresponsible conduct and unsafe behavior
